Brass Metal Spinning Top - Mental Focus and Stress Relief

I am 28 years old, haven't spun a top since the 90s. Gave this a spin on my coffee table and got no less than 6 minutes on my first spin. It's compact, hefty, and well machined. The fused brass and aluminum are elegant together. Very neat to have something that fits in a small pocket, can be given minimal effort, and provides several minutes of enjoyment and suspense. I'll be brining it to work to distract customers while I get all of their items together in the computer. Everyone loves watching a top. Great buy. If you're on the fence, and have a few extra bucks, go for it!

The media could not be loaded. We just got this top a couple of days ago, and my kids can't stop playing with it! They've already made a chart of best times and fight over who can spin it next. This top would make a great stocking stuffer or gift for the person that has everything. The quality is amazing- the top is heavy, well made, and stunning to look at! This will be a gift we give often because of its unique quality and the hours of entertainment it will provide.

We've had the top out in our living room with the wooden base and we've had several fun spin competitions with friends and family. It's got a great grip and even as beginners we've gotten some pretty good spin times!

This is a fun little gadget!! The kids are constantly spinning it. It has a good weight to it, the bearing inside keeps it spinning for so long! Works well on any smooth surface, especially glass or mirrors. It arrived very quickly and comes packaged nicely in a bag inside a sturdy box. It would make a great gift or a fun desk accessory. I've have several tops and this Bruce Charles Designs Schulte Brass Spinning Top is one of my top that consistently long. It's very well designed and balanced. In my personal collection the MK1 Vorso is the champion of longest spin time, but the Schulte is close competition. It also cost much less than the MK1 Vorso. For those looking for a good top that isn't too expensive, you can't go wrong with the Bruce Charles Designs Schulte Brass Spinning Top.

This was the perfect gift for my husband. Impeccable craftsmanship, smooth to touch and spins beautifully. My husband keeps this on his desk at work. It’s great for those moments of deep thoughts or while he’s stuck on a lengthy call. It is also a conversation starter. I personally love spinning tops and really wanted to keep it for myself and it’s way cooler than the bronze rose my husband gifted me . (Don’t tell him I said that)

This is a great toy! My wife got it for me for Christmas. I have a concave mirror on which I spin it. I was able to get a 5-min spin nearly right away on the mirror. Experimenting to get more spin time, I wrapped a couple feet of sewing thread around the base of the top, right above the flywheel, and slipped a metal straw over the handle. The metal straw has an inner diameter just slightly larger than the diameter of the handle. Holding the straw vertically and pulling the string, I was able to spin up the top and got just over 10 minutes of spin time on the mirror. The spin surface makes a huge difference.

Not as stable as could be expected on the launch spin... very well made and very good materials. It came with a brilliant deep shine u was very impressed with and I very nice package with its own velvet bag. From the experience I have had with lower priced all metal brass tops larger diameter would be very beneficial with these higher quality materials. I do understand that larger diameter mean for much more loss of material in the machining process but I do beleive it would sell better if it was easier to get spinning beautifully and be more justified in the minds of people who don't see a value in a 30 dollar chunk of metal
