Fun for various ages

It’s a cute basic kit. The instructions are easy to follow, detailed, and have visuals. Some experiments needed items I’m not sure that we have, but there are also plenty that don’t need anything extra or are things we all would have already. I’m happy with it.

The kit was complete and easy to use.

This was a fun thing to do with my son, but some of these I do not need the kit for. Also, they make some of these experiments more complicated than necessary. We did the exploding bag experiment and they had us add water with the vinegar, which just dilutes the vinegar, and then add the baking place on a rag. It was much easier to add straight vinegar into bag, with a small opening at the top, keeping it from mixing and then closed it right away. That was much easier. But like I said, it was a more of a bonding experience than anything else.
It's a decent little kit, you will have to provide some house hold supplies like vinegar of course. But what really frustrated me was trying to read the educational information to my 8 yo in what is best described as broken English. Update: since submitting my review the seller has reached out to me with an offer towards a full refund due to my dissatisfaction. Although in good faith I cannot accept the refund in part because we are still making use of the kit. The experiments work. I find this to be a very honorable gesture from this seller and I will continue purchasing products from them.

I got this for my 2 daughters for Christmas. We have been doing them together and it's so fun. Only downside is that they don't give quite enough items in the kit to do everything. Like only 1 pair of single use gloves, and more than one experiment includes gloves. And if you buy this make sure you have vinegar in your cabinet.

Kids really enjoyed!
We still have yet to make it through the whole packet of experiments, so I may come back to alter my review, but this is a pretty decent set with some cool things in it. The expectation is that there is multiple exploding things, and so far we haven't found that. The iron ore sprinkled onto the flame was super cool though! We also didn't realize it was necessary to go in order, so we started one experiment for the lava lamp, just to find out we had to do another experiment first, and let that dry for 24 hrs, to use in the one we wanted. All in all, I am pleased with the set, but I'd prefer more accurate descriptions of what we're looking for instead of the ones that get kids all excited. My kids felt let down, but would have still found it cool if they weren't expecting fireworks, when the color simply spread over a larger area upon contact with a different substance in the experiment. I still say it's a good kit to get though!
