I played this game with my 10 and 8 year old and both were able to understand the rules from the start. The YouTube video was helpful! We have really enjoyed it and it has motivated my kids to want to see more national parks! A win for me as well!
This game could be intimidating when you first open the box and read the directions There are many steps to follow, rules to remember and pieces to keep track of BUT play it once and you'll see how easy it is to understand and play over and over again. If, like us, you've enjoyed visiting the parks, it's fun to recognize places you've been. If you're a traveler who hasn't explored the beauty and history of the parks, this will inspire you to get to know them better. The game play is good for 10 and up as it states on the box and makes for good conversation between generations. If your kids enjoyed The Oregon Trail game, they're going to ask you again and again to play this. Nice work, Underdog Games!

We love playing games in our family and we got this one for Christmas. It is a lot of fun and we play it regularly. It’s not a long game but not too short. There is strategy and plotting that make it interesting. A lot of fun!

Took a little time to understand the rules. However, it was well worth the time. 5 new players had a wonderful time competing.

Loved this game! Very well done and quality product. It sort of combines some of the features of Settlers of Catan but has its own twist. Nice that it features info on all the state parks. Makes me want to visit them all too! Enjoyably educational. Highly recommend!

I bought this for my husband's birthday. We've had a blast playing it. There's some strategy involved, but not enough for the game to take forever to finish. The hiker pieces are bigger than traditional playing pieces. The art work is great. Not two games are alike. It's fun to thwart the other players

My family and I love this game. It was not too complex to learn but had enough rules so it’s not boring. The illustration of the board and cards is beautiful. The game is durable and a great gift for anyone who loves games.

Our family is a fan of Ticket to Ride, Settlers of Catan, and Splendor. This game felt like a mix of all three! You race your opponents to pick up parks and battle to score enough victory points to win. It was easy to learn and I’m sure there are many strategies to pick up as we continue to play. I’d recommend this game to people who like a quick but strategic board game. Note there are parts that can be swallowed by young children or pets so this should be taken into consideration when purchasing.
