Got it. Used it. Fixed it. Didn't even read the directions. Easy peazy lemon squeezy.

I was initially skeptical that this would work as good as a plugged in version. It appears to work just as fast to me and doesn't have a cord to get in the way. It fits Milwaukee type M18 batteries. No battery is included. The one in my last photo is a generic version. There is a bit of slop in the battery connection. I can't tell if that's due to the battery or the tool, but it's not enough to matter on this type of tool. I like it, and I am glad I got it.

I recently had the opportunity to test out the Cordless Plastic Welding Gun with an 18v power source, complete with a hot stapler and a generous supply of 6 types of staples (a whopping 600 staples included!). Let me tell you, this tool has revolutionized my DIY plastic repair projects. First and foremost, the cordless feature is a game-changer. No more tripping over cords or searching for outlets. The 18v power source provides ample energy for all your plastic welding needs, ensuring consistent and reliable performance. The hot stapler function is where this welding gun truly shines. Whether I'm fixing a cracked bumper, a broken plastic component, or reinforcing a plastic structure, the hot stapler effortlessly melts and secures the staples, creating a strong and lasting bond. It's remarkably efficient, saving me both time and effort. The inclusion of 6 types of staples is a welcome bonus. I appreciate the versatility it offers, allowing me to tackle various repair tasks with ease. Whether it's flat staples, corner staples, or wave staples, this kit has me covered. Plus, with a generous supply of 600 staples, I won't run out anytime soon. The ergonomics of this welding gun are well thought out. It's comfortable to hold and maneuver, reducing fatigue during longer repair sessions. The clear LED display keeps me informed about the temperature settings, ensuring precision in my work. One minor downside is that the gun can get a bit heavy after extended use, but that's a small trade-off for its incredible performance. In conclusion, the Cordless Plastic Welding Gun with an 18v power source, hot stapler, 6 types of staples, and 600 staples is a must-have tool for any DIY enthusiast or professional in need of plastic repairs. It simplifies the process, enhances efficiency, and provides outstanding results. Say goodbye to traditional welding methods – this welding gun is the future of plastic repairs. Highly recommended!
I've never had a plastic welder before but have looked at them for a long time. We have one vehicle with a splitting front bumper and I'd wanted to fix it up. Almost did the "drill and tie" method but when I saw this I decided to try this instead. You still end up with a Frankenstein looking repair but nothing like the tying method would have been. Depending on how far apart you place these the tighter hold you can give it, but you don't have to use many at all to actually hold a panel like this. They're very secure. Once held the plastic seems to cool quickly but of course still be sure it's set well before clipping the wires. Nice thing is if you see that it hasn't and haven't clipped yet, you can get it back on the gun and remove or adjust. This heats up very quickly actually. Not immediate but not like waiting forever either. I hope it lasts a nice long while but I haven't had it long enough to get a feel for that yet. It doesn't come with a battery so be sure that you either have the right type of Milwaukee compatible battery or can get one. I have generic branded that are working well, and were a lot cheaper for me to grab when I did. So far I'm happy with this tool, and in seeing some uses in other reviews am becoming motivated to get to other projects with this.
This welder works very well and the variety of staples included is nice because it gives you a sense of which ones to use where without having to run out and spend a lot of money trying different ones. I like the welder. I was really surprised to see that it does not come with its own power source. The price is so high I actually was very disappointed because I typically have collected a different brand, so before I could try it I had to purchase a power source. It really should come with a power source.

I needed to weld a few plastic items, including a taillight housing. The Plastic Welder worked great with no issues! Highly recommended!

Good product. There is always an upcharge when getting these cordless ones compared to the cheaper versions that are usb chargeable or corded. Do not like how it costs so much and does not even come with a power source. I do not believe the product is worth full price without a power source since there are many models that do not need an additional power source that are much cheaper. I do not see enough reason to get this product over others. This product does work though. Heats up at a good pace and applies the staples well. Comes with plenty of staples for more than a few jobs.

Let me start by saying, right out of the box, the trigger lock doesn’t work, feels too “plasticky” same as holding a cheap plastic toy, might be my perception, however, the battery wiggles on the tool, eventually, it could lead to a connection failure. The thing did what I needed but I’m not impressed compared to my $25.00 corded version of, definitely not meant for professionals, I would say it’s meant for random users that may need to fix a thing or two once in a blue moon. I gave it 3 stars because the tool could be improved and it has potential in the cordless world. Price definitely 1 star Craftsmanship 1 star Performance 3 stars I hope my comment helps the vendor to improve the tool, in my opinion the tool has potencial.
