A little narrow but works great, battery lasts long

I live in CO, in the mountains, I know it's not meant for over six inches of snow, but it can handle more, just a once over. It's been great, so, so far so good. Someone did say the hood needs to be longer or bigger. I agree, I wish it was a bit longer to keep the spray back away from you. It's fine depending on the wind. However, it was money worth spent. I don't have a lot of storage space for a large snowblower and this is so handy and easy for me to store is one reason I purchased it. IMO it's great.

No more worries about a heart attack when shoveling snow & throwing it over the railing on the deck. It cleans up all snow; light, fluffy and even heavier with ice crystals. IT DOES A GREAT JOB!! Cleans up snow even at 8" depth. The battery lasts over an hour and quickly charges up for next use (in about 30 minutes.) I keep it inside, just for peace of mind and out of -20° temperatures here in Minnesota. Brrrr. No more struggling with the cumbersome weight of all that snow to throw from a manual shovel. The clearing of our deck just went from over an hour (with exhaustion, heart racing and backahes) to completing the same job in about 15 minutes and no more worries about potential health issues anymore in trying to clean.off our 10' x 20' deck. I just used it for the first time today to clear about 5 to 6 inches of snow. It was easy to assemble, light weight to move around and pick up. It cleared the snow well, but watch out if there's a bit of wind bc it'll come back at you. I liked it except for the trigger. My hand got really really really tired with the grip hold and had to stop to take a break. My hand was shaking afterwards. I'm a small frame 5'4 female and found it easy to assemble/use and handle for the first 15min then my hand tired bc of the trigger, otherwise I could have kept going. Did a good job clearing the walkway, sidewalk and 1/8 of a driveway before battery died. I do recommend.

The unit assembled with non of the problems listed in the revews. When assembling the handle, I had no trouble with the cord being too long a couple reviews complained. Another review suggested that it would be nice if the snow could be aimed in a direction rather than streight ahead. This is a power snow shovel rather than a standard snow blower. To engineer a shoot that could deflect the snow from streight ahead would change the size and weight of the unit. It's light weight is an advantage for lifting it up steps to a deck or portch. You do have some control beyond just shooting the snow streight ahead. Simply push the snow shovel at a slight angle to right or left. That throws the snow up to 25 or 30 degrees to either side. Also, if you make a path of cleared area wide enough lengthways, you can then blow the snow in a series of passes to the side which quickly clears the snow with easy, short passes.

I was reluctant to purchase this little electric snowblower. I needed something to get the snow removed from my deck. I purchased it and I will say that it works very well. It’s not made for heavy deep snow but moves snow in layers. It’s lightweight and easy to run and maneuver.

We needed something compact and light, and this was the ticket. It's easy to store or hang and simply grab when needed. It sweeps away snow easily, ejecting it some 10 feet, something that takes too much effort with a shovel — or a standard snowblower for that matter. Here in upstate NY we actually enjoyed shoveling for the exercise. Now that we're getting older the extra help is nice. Highly recommend.

I bought this for my Great Aunt's house. It's light and works great. I'm thinking it might be great for my parents as well and buying them one too. It was super easy to put together, and the battery charged very quickly.
