I use this style of glove at my job all the time and have used several different brands over 15+ years, so I decided to purchase some of this brand for use at home, as well as some smaller sizes for my children. This description said they run small, so I was a bit concerned on what size to order. I always use medium at my job and have never used any other size. The mediums on this brand run very large, they are comparable to size larges in several of the other brands, so they are far too big for me to use, they are almost too large for my husband who wears a size large. The size small I got does fit me, so it is comparable to a size medium in other brands. The x-small size I got for my older child are barely smaller than the size small, literally about 1/8" difference in finger length, so will not work for her at all currently, but she will eventually grow into them. The overall quality is great and what I expected, but the sizing does not run true at all, and the ones I got, run very large compared to other brands. Many other reviewers say they run small in size, so it appears that it depends on when the gloves were made or maybe it comes down to sheer luck on what you end up with. They do what they are meant to do, so I am impressed with that, and the cost is great. But the sizing is not true at all and seems to be all over the board.

Sadly, I got these after I cut my hand and needed stitches. Now I use these, and have no worries. They are a tad small, and border on painful until they stretch out some. That said, I do have massive hands, so your mileage may vary. I'll buy again if/when needed.

I pretty much only use it when slicing vegetables on my mandolin. It allows you to slice to the end of a vegetable, without adding your fingertips to the mix.

Love the fit and comfort of these gloves; however, the material is slippery and too slick, making it impossible to hold items securely in your hand. I use my gloves for wood carving, and ended up using an old rubber coated garden glove over this cut resistant glove to allow for safe gripping.

Good product for kids

The small size fit my hands! My hands are the size of a 12-13 yr old. The tips of the fingers are a bit too long but I'm okay with that. I bought these to use in sewing class with kids who want to use a rotary cutter. Since I let kids 12 and older use the gloves I think these will fit perfectly.
