20pc 1/4 Ultra Low Profile Mini Ratchet Wrench Close Quarters with High Torque

Worked great for the small space you have to work with on a Kymco People 150 scooter to change the air filter. One of the bolts on this scooters airbox are very hard to get to without this tool. I did not have any issues.

I bought this mini ratchet to remove some flat head screws on the inside of a bathroom sink, which are notorious for being tight spaces. The tool comes with a variety of bits, so it was easy to get the job done without having to buy or borrow a reciprocating saw. If you're like me, you probably have a lot of other bits that will fit this ratchet too, including extensions. I wouldn't call this tool heavy duty, and I wouldn't try to torque down anything big, but it is well constructed and goes a bit beyond "Handy Duty".

I love the idea of a small wrench like this, and this one works fairly ok. With one major draw back. The toggle for the direction is on the side. So guess what happens if you are in a tight low profile space. You'll hit that toggle and have have to reset it. Makes it very frustrating to use sometimes.

I got this Mulwark ratchet set because the hex screws were not all made correctly. Some did not fit the supplied allen wrench. While I waited for the furniture kit company to send replacement hex screws I tried this inexpensive ratchet set. Using a hex bit (sorry, not a tool gal and don't know what these little screw bits are called) one size larger, every odd screw went in perfectly. I've used this since then most every time instead of a true screw driver and love how fast and easy placing screws has become. No matter what, the screwdriver would slip invariably striking the hand holding it (mine). With the ratchet this no longer happens. Of course it turns clockwise and counter clockwise. Yes, I said it is cute ... and it is! The set is small, maybe 3" long. Tools are not generally cute, but this "baby" set is, in its small metal way. Two rows of bits come with it including a straight-edge and a Phillips screwdriver, several hex sizes and styles (square, star, etc), and some I have no idea what they are used with. The big pluses for me were its price, $15, how easy they are to use, the versatility of bits, and yes, their cuteness. They fit so nicely in my crafts(wo)man toolbox. I didn't spend much thinking once these last 6 screws were set in the you-assemble cabinet I'd never use them again. Turns out I use this ratchet set more than any other tool I own.

Starting with the bits, the bits included in this low-profile mini ratchet set work just fine. Fitment is good, and the included selection covers most needs. However it is the mini ratchet handle that could have been better. Construction-wise the ratchet works as expected, and seems to be made of good materials that do not feel cheap. The ratcheting mechanism works as intended, and bit fitment is snug. The one big flaw with the ratchet though is the position of the reversing toggle: When using the mini ratchet with one hand, the reversing switch falls exactly underneath your fingertips - which inevitably causes the ratchet to reverse direction when you apply the turning force with your fingers. Unlike regular ratchets where you can grip them with three fingers around the head when using one-handed, with this mini ratchet you'll have to readjust your hand position so that your fingers are not touching the reversing toggle. Aside from that one flaw, the set itself is a good value and nicely made.

Perfect little tool for the pocket sized tool box. Lots of heads, and it feels very durable. Great for those hard to reach areas you cannot get to with a regular screwdriver.

Perfect Mini Ratchet Wrench! High recommend for all sorts of fussy spaces -- lots of attachment heads that are really useful, and good sturdy quality. Perfect for tight spaces. One improvement I would make is to include a case that holds the Mini Ratchet Wrench and the attachment heads, but a ziplock bag Winn have to do! High recommend for your tool kit.
