Experience the powerful sound of System of a Down's second studio album, 'Toxicity.' Released on September 4, 2001, by American Recordings, this vinyl LP pressing delivers a unique blend of heavy metal, alternative metal, and nu metal. 'Toxicity' builds on the band's debut album's aggression, adding more melody, harmonies, and singing. It's a musical journey that incorporates elements of folk, progressive rock, jazz, Armenian and Greek music, with prominent use of instruments like the sitar, banjo, keyboards, and piano. The album's themes range from political issues like prison overpopulation and the CIA to non-political topics like group sex, drug addiction, and groupies. Discover the diverse sounds and themes of 'Toxicity' today.

It's not a gatefold double 180 gram pressing, but quality nonetheless, especially given the low price. Flat, clean record with no hissing, popping, or crackling.

Wow. Just wow. I had just gotten into SOAD recently, and I read some of the reviews and was a little hesitant to buy it at first. I’m honestly so impressed. The sound quality was outstanding, I don’t think I even heard one skip or one bump. I would 10/10 recommend. And for the price? What an actual steal. There’s also a “hidden” track on the album which I found to be pretty cool.
