Das Boot Beer Glass - 2 Liter Beer Boot Mug

Das boot did das trick! At our annual Oktoberfest, not only did I show up in lederhosen, but I had a beautiful boot to boot! Everything they said in the advert was true; the glass is sturdy and washes well in the dishwasher. My big boot took five beers, and I drank them all in a quick flash, whilst turning the boot and showing off. I proceeded to become inebriated faster than normal! There is only one small issue that keeps this from being five stars; on the heel, where the glass seam was either finished or simply pressed together, there is a little edge still attached, and it keeps the boot from sitting flat on a surface. It actually rocks back and forth because of that little tab thingy. That is highly annoying, and a little dent in quality. Overall I like the boot for the most part - just annoyed it does not sit level and flat. I would probably recommend it to my friends and relatives, but because it is not flat and level on the bottom can only rate if four stars.

Ever since (about 10 years ago) my kid saw a comedy music video about "Das Boot" I've been looking for one of these. My (adult) kid thought it was hilarious and this will make a great birthday present for them. The glass boot is very well packaged upon arrival. The glass is nice and thick and surprisingly good quality. I got the one-liter size which is smaller than the regular sized Boot that is more typical (But still a large drinking glass). This size has more uses beyond drinking, like holding coins and such. The boot has the logo of the company on the "sole" of it, but it's not super visible with it sitting (standing?) out on a tabletop. I can't really tell where it was manufactured based on the packaging, but according to a web search it's a family business out of Florida. Overall, a really fun, quality made, gift for drinkers and non-drinkers alike.

So this is s nice little novelty item. I was actually expecting it to be taller but the dimensions are listed, so I shouldn't have been surprised. Solid thick glass. It is just the right size to be able to hold. Kinda hard to put in a cabinet and takes up s lot of room so it will have to hang out over on my ɓar.

As someone who has spent a good chunk of my adult life during beer out of boots, I feel oddly qualified to say this one is top notch for a glass that wasn't hand blown. Especially good value for what you get. The base is thicker glass than the sides, but no portion feels thin, or likely to shatter if one of your co-drinkers sets it down with a bit too much merriment. There is a seam on this glass, but it isn't highly obvious or lumpy at all. I thought for the price, this was going to be heavy and unappealing like some cheap carnival glass, hut it's quite nice. Husband wishes the toe and heal were a bit larger, for the right slosh of beer at the end, but I think they're fine.

Loved this for the price. Glass was a bit thicker than expected (actually a downside) and had some "bubbles" in it. But overall great.

Great price on a quality glass boot. Especially for the two liter version. My husband has a few smaller liter boots and wanted this larger one in time for Oktoberfest and it did not disappoint. If not drinking from it, it could be a nice center piece addition at your party but who doesn’t want to drink from DAS BOOT. Bavarian Trachten has not disappointed me with any of the products I have purchased

This is just like the one in the pub scene from the Inglorious B*******s movie ! Bring me " drie 🤟 biers!" Its the real deal ! very cool ,and a must for any stien collector .perfect October fest gift as well,great attention to its packing for shipment,it comes sandwiched between two foam blocks with a sturdy cardboard outer box for assured one piece delivery,and safe storage at home.cant say enough about this Boot other than " Bar keep! 🤟more Das boot Biers ,schnell! ?? Or something like that? Schmelt! You get the picture!
