When I replaced my kitchen faucet and installed an under sink soap pump I wanted to complete the cleaned up look by getting rid of my old countertop sponge holder. There are a lot of options out there for such products but most are not very well designed – they either get in the way while using the sink or take up too much space on the rim or don’t hold the sponge securely or in a convenient position. I saw this one and liked the design for several reasons. First, it is minimalistic, just a subtle white utilitarian holder that is the perfect size to hold a typical sink sponge. The sponge is about half hidden by the caddy so it looks attractive and it won’t fall out into the sink at the wrong time. The bottom portion is a water holding drip tray so the sponge isn’t sitting in a pool of water and under normal use the moisture will evaporate between uses, but if the sponge is stored while wet you can easily remove the tray to empty or clean it. I like that it uses Command strips so if and when I change my mind I haven’t drilled any holes or glued anything permanently in place. I completely disagree that it should be mounted under the sink, that would be very inconvenient to reach for my sponge every time I need it to wipe something clean and it seems storing it in a closed dark space would promote the growth of mold. I do understand that Command strips are not waterproof so I wouldn’t mount in right inside the sink – in my case I stuck it to the tile backsplash right next to the sink where it is in a perfect location to use but never get in the way. Throughout my life I have trusted 3M products, they are always unique, innovative and a solution that you usually can’t find anywhere else. Like all Command products the plastic is a little heavier than average and has a nice smooth contemporary white finish that goes with everything. Of the dozens of sponge caddies I looked at this one is by far the best designed.

This does about what I wanted. There's no room on top of the sink for any clutter, and this allows me to store a sponge inside the cabinet below. The holder is perforated with a drip tray underneath, which is well-considered. However, I was hoping to be able to store more than a single, regular-sized kitchen sponge in it. There is no chance in the world of that happening. It's large enough for one sponge. That's it, man.

So far really nice. Love this in my RV. It is light weight, easy to install and holding up nicely.

I use this to put away my makeup sponges and guasha pieces as they dry. It is perfect for the job, I don't have to see it or the sponges and I don't have to worry about dripping. I only wish it was black, but since it is tucked away, it is fine,

This is a nice lil caddy to put on your door. I like the fact I don't have to worry about water dripping down my door. Would purchase again and might get another one for above my dish strainer.

The description reads “2 pack”, but don’t think (like me) that you’re getting 2 of these - I don’t even know what “2 pack” refers to, because there isn’t 2 of anything… I likely wouldn’t have bought it at this price if I didn’t think I was getting 2.
I keep a kosher kitchen and these have been fantastic to help me keep my sponges separate. Big fan of the wall mount with command strips so I don’t lose any countertop space. Big fan of these sponge holders! Wish they were more affordable but they are worth the $!

This was a nice way to store my sponge under the sink and out of site
