Shiatsu Massager Pillow with Heat, Deep Tissue Kneading Massage

I've only had it for a day, but so far so good. Works just as well as massagers I've used in professional settings. It would be nice if the strap stretched further, but still...5 stars. I like that it comes with a car adapter for use while driving/riding.

Great for knots, portable, light weight, fun and easy to use. Not much heat but just enough for long use.

For a relatively inexpensive and small machine, this does a lot in terms of unknotting muscles and providing pain relief. I have found spots with its kneading "fingers" that I did not even realize were painfully tight. But the good thing with applying the massage yourself, you have all the control in terms of intensity and duration. If it gets to be too much, there's an easy switch to turn off. I have found it especially useful on my middle back and neck areas. I do find it a bit hard to place correctly for my low back. It's hard to line up exactly right to reach that area. I don't feel a lot of heat coming from it when choosing the heated side of the switch, but that's not a big issue for me. I do like that it has a very long power cord which allows the device to follow me where I want it to. Overall, one of my better purchases!

The Mo Cuishle massage pillow comes in a nice cardboard box with a plastic carrying handle, a standard 110v~240v power adapter, and a seperate car power adapter. The pillow has a soft leather (suprised me) , the quality of which is very good. I first sampled this product at a local store that focuses on the back and the relaxation thereof...I'm sure you can figure out which one. I loved the product but wasn't about to pay 129 dollars for it. You can imagine my surprise when I saw it was available on Amazon for 49 dollars. My biggest concern was the strength of the motor. I.e, how much pressure can you place on it before the motor begins to whirl from too much weight. I'm not a huge guy, 190 pounds on a 6 foot frame, but big enough to potentially strain the device depending on my sitting position and area where the pillow is placed. Let me tell you, I've placed this device underneath my thighs while sitting in an office chair and the balls kept rolling albeit a little bit slower. Now, it remains to be seen the long term stress this places on the motor but so far so good. I use it on multiple spots everyday; thighs, back, and neck specifically. There is no heat adjustment setting, however, the heat is absolutely perfect for me, between the high and medium setting on my heating pad (high being too hot for long term, medium being too cold). The operaton couldn't be simpler, a single push on the only button turns heat on and off, 1 seconds to turn off. The message action is wonderfull, The advantage of the pillow over a full message chair is the ability to place the pillow exactly where you need relief, instead of having to adjust your body to a fixed chair (or go thru a seperate setup proccess). The portability of the pillow is also a nice plus, its small and portable (you can even use the box it comes in for storage and transportation) with a convienent strap for attaching it to your car seat if desired. Overall this pillow did the trick for me, relieved my back pain and saved me lots of money over a message chair.I'm extremely happy with the purchase thus far and finding it for 100 dollars cheaper is the icing on the cake. I will update my review over the next few months paying special attention to the life of the internal motor. Happy relaxation!

Feel great after using it. Next best thing to a professional massage. Wish I'd bought one sooner. Going to buy some for my family now.

Small but packed a punch! one can move it to wherever you want massaged. Love the heat feature too.

*Update: after about 2 months of heavy use with two users the unit is no longer functioning. What’s great: price, semi durable, can really work out knots with deep massage. What’s not: spacing of massage nubs, not really customizable, switch position and cord connection. For the price this massager is surprisingly good. I’ve had it about a month and it still works, despite heavy usage by my daughter and myself. It does seem to be slowing down a bit but I think my daughter is putting too much pressure on it. It is not really customizable though, as it only has two direction settings and you can’t control heat it’s just always on or at least it seems to be. Most of the time the heat seems to be off in one direction but a few times I think heat was on regardless of direction. Heat isn’t too intense though. You can’t change the intensity, speed or anything like that either. I think I saw some reviews that said it didn’t work from first day or broke quickly but I think some may just be a result of a design flaw that makes user error very likely. Switch is too close to the unit so it’s easy to accidentally hit the switch while using. It also has a two section cord with a connection port. This is because it comes with a standard plug in and a car lighter adapter. The connection for the segments is also pretty close to unit but lower than switch. Since nubs are spaced wide, this often means I have to turn the unit upside down which puts connection close to you and easily gets detached. The nubs themselves are very widely spaced. While this isn’t too bad on the back, it’s very difficult to use on the neck. I find I often have to position it closer to my vertebrates on one side then repeat on the other. Sometimes I even turn it diagonally because it tends to push on the base of my skull making the area sore. I also have to move it around when using on my back but once it’s in position it really gives great deep pressure and loosens knots well. And while I wouldn’t recommend trying this if you have had a chiropractic adjustment but if I put the nubs on one side of my spine and kind of lean a little into it I’ve been able to realign some of my vertebrae. I threw my back out a couple of weeks before getting it and it really helped along with using a tens unit usually after. I would recommend making sure you hydrate yourself well after using because deep tissue massage tends to make the muscles very sore afterwards if you are even a little dehydrated. I learned that the hard way years ago when I got my first professional massage. You will still feel a bit sore as the nubs are pretty hard. I recommend sitting up to use so you can control the pressure better. Overall despite its design flaws it’s a good deal for the price.
