Dyson Airstrait Straightener

This has been a game changer! I love it. I didn’t want to. I really wanted to hate it at this price. But, it’s all it says it is. My hair has never looked better or healthier. Be sure to use a blow dry cream just like you would with blow drying your hair normally. When closed, it works like a hair dryer to dry your roots and almost get it dry. Like 70% focused at the roots. Then run it through, small sections slowly. It comes out dry, straight, smooth, and so shiny! I wish it was less expensive but it’s worth every penny. It’s unique on the market as far as I know, and it replaces a dryer and flat iron. I think $200-$300 would be better but it’s still worth $500. I love it! I have done somewhat curly hair and lots of it if that helps. :)

Dries wet wavy hair like the hot Santa Ana winds--fast and super straight. Also use to smooth dry hair that is unruly after sleeping. I'm a huge fan of Dyson products, and this one just jumped to the top of my list.

Geez this is BRILLIANT! Of course it is, it’s engineered by Dyson, and I’m so thrilled with how my hair looks today with little to no experience, I just knew I wanted my longer, fine aging blonde hair to look sleek and straight like after a visit to the hairdressers, and voila perfection the first try. Absolutely besotted with it, even my arthritic hands are happy, easy to use, fantastic features, I can’t wait to look this good so easily going forward! I cannot believe I am saying this knowing the cost, but, you need this in your life, buy it, it’s worth every penny!!

Ok so I waited until I used it a few times before writing a review. I have extremely thick frizzy wavy hair. It normally takes about 2 hours to completely dry and straighten my hair. I was able to dry and straighten my hair in about 45 minutes with this dyson. Definite time saver but my roots were still damp. You can hold the straightener together to dry your roots but it wasn’t strong enough to completely dry my roots. I had to pull out my hair dryer and finish drying after using the dyson air strait. I also went over it with my usual straightener to give it a more polished look. It did save significant time, but for very thick hair you will probably still need your regular hair dryer and straightener as well. All in all, I think it’s worth it.

I am not the ideal user of this product, but I am a fan of all things Dyson and figured I would give it a try. My hair is very fine, straight, and medium-length. I really liked the Airstraight's ease of use, and it does exactly what it promises to deliver in terms of achieving stick-straight hair. For me, I like to add more volume if I can, and this product does nothing to help with that. I'd have to use another tool in addition to this one, but because the Airstraight is so expensive and my hair is so straight anyway, I'm going to return it and stick with my other dryers. However, I think people with curly or wavy hair will adore it. I will also say that one other thing I noticed is that all my shorter hairs were very staticky/frizzy/sticking up after I dried my hair. They calmed down after a few hours, but were quite unattractive at the beginning. Anyway, I will stick with my other Dyson hair tools that are much better suited to me.

Where has this been all my life? Easy to use. Fast drying. Leaves my hair looking amazing. I love the idle feature. Seriously. Get one. You won’t regret it. I have five hair with only the slightest bit of wave. It works great on my hair type.

It’s a nice concept and works ok if you have the time to section your hair to dry. I still found myself finishing with a regular flat iron for a smooth finish. It wasn’t worth the money in my opinion
