Before the restrictions on dining away from home, that came with the Covid-19 pandemic, I would enjoy the occasional after-dinner mint as provided by many restaurants. For the last several years I have avoided "dining-out" and I have been craving mint (especially a chocolate coated kind) so I ordered a big bag full. Much to my pleasure they arrived today and I immediately savored a couple of them. Ummm, so good! I will be parceling them out as special after-meal treats for the next few months ... if I can control myself sufficiently.

I love YORK Dark Chocolate Peppermint Patties. I eat them for heart burn, but mostly eat them because I love them, great taste and simple.

This bag is over 2 pounds! I'm not complaining. I thought I was purchasing a smaller bag, and this bag is HUGE! It's going to take me months to eat all of these. No, I didn't read read the details when I purchased this bag, I had no idea it was so big, next time I will. Again, I am not complaining. I am glad to have a large bag of these because I really like them and they will last me a long time!

Put these in the freezer. There's nothing like a frozen York peppermint patty. There goes my waistline.

Fresh was the Best way to describe them. I've tried others in the past, but never received any as fresh and delicious. Ordered another bag. These are actually great for snacking, or when you're running around and you feel like you're dragging from low blood sugar. Pop one or two and you're good to go for a few, like when you're waiting for dinner that has another hour to cook.

Smaller than i thought they would be but I'm mad at it since it was not melted and the ice packs were still semi frozen!! Usually they sit in the hot sun/ truck and you end up with a hot mess. I'm very impressed. Side note: it was pouring out and the box was so wet but the bags were fine. I wish they had plastic bags when they're sitting outside during a storm!!
