TISUR Titanium Quick Release Keychain

I was hesitant to get this, but upon receiving I found it to be very well made. The clasp is crisp, there is no wiggling in the joints or anything, and it comes with two different options for rings. Note that I haven't been using it for more than a day, but am pleasantly surprised so far.

I've been using this for about a week. Mine is the little spherical one. My use of this is not for hanging keys, but for hanging a 5.5" solid aluminum kubotan (aka palm stick, a self-defense tool) from a belt loop so that the kubotan hangs free by my right trouser pocket = quickly accessible, not in a pocket. I attach one split ring to the kubotan (it has a large hole in the "non-business" end), one split ring to a small carabiner which clips to my belt loop. A sharp, but easy jerk downward frees the kubotan and it's ready to go. It releases easily enough, but I can tell there's no danger of it releasing without being firmly pulled. It's quite easy to snap it back together again: about the same pressure that one would use to close a snap on an overcoat. One reviewer complained that the item was very small, and too small for his (?) use. That's not the case for me at all. I love its small size. For scale, the length from the top of one split ring to the top (bottom) of the other one is exactly 2.5". Add my carabiner to that length and my kubotan hangs at a perfect spot for me to grab it easily if needed.

Light Weight and Compact, I am down to three keys for my EDC - So this fit the need! I have to separate my Car Key from my other keys a lot and this has been perfect.

Seems sturdy enough, but I was shocked to see how small it is. For $16, I just hope it holds up. That's a bit pricey for such a tiny keychain.

I got tired of having to un-do a helical key ring when dropping of the car to the shop and the TISUR is solid, well-made and secure so I won't lose the key. It's supposed to be made of titanium and I have no reason to doubt it. Simple to release and easy to re-connect. Problem solved.
