ORIGBELIE External CD DVD Drive - Ultra Slim CD Burner

I bought this to use on my tablet, oops my bad, it clearly states that it's not compatible. Well that's okay, I have a Windows laptop that will work fine. Except I get the exact same results on the laptop as I got on the tablet. The device plugs in, is visible in devices and claims to be working properly, Insert a disk and you get is a repeated attempt to run this disk with no success. Maybe it's this country code the manual talks about, but I can find no way to pick a country code. What a waste of money, so disappointed. Edit: found out how to set the country code as I was looking to buy a new one of these from a different manufacturer. That did not help. However when I plugged in the charging cable to the wall after that it did finally start working. Now there are cords going everywhere but at least I have a working cd drive. Still wouldn't recommend buying this product, not a good experience at all.

Simple to use, came with USB dual plugs. Plugged it in and put CD in that I needed to copy from and it worked perfectly. Small enough to carry in laptop bag with two other disk drives.

I plug in my new external optical drive on my dell gaming laptop running on windows 11 and everything just work perfect. It was recognized by windows 11 and i was able to install a program using the install disc...At first i thought that it wont work when i plug in on one of the usb port but soon realized that i used the power cord rather than the usb cord that comes attached underneath the unit .so, after correcting that it works perfect.

I replaced my regular desktop with a ultra small form factor one and of course it doesn't have a disc drive. I rarely need one, so a portable one just makes sense. I am cleaning out my office, and that means getting rid of 600+ CD's. They're taking up too much space. The read speed is great too. It took a while to rip that many CD's, but the drive performed wonderfully. The outer shell is very thin and bows when you touch it. Your index & middle finger naturally rest on the top to hold it still when pressing the eject button. The might sometimes catch on the top from bowing. There aren't many options for placement since the USB cord is literally just a stub. Since the cord is so stiff and the unit itself is so light, it will never lay perfectly flat or straight unless you get a extension. For the price it is a really good option for temporary use. If you are going to have the thing hooked up all the time, look for one that has a much longer chord.

I wanted to use it in a Chromebook laptop and in the description it said it was compatible and then the seller sent me a separate email and said it was not compatible.

Really great piece of equipment. It works great. I just plugged it into my Mac and appeared in the desktop. No need to download a software, no need to do a long installation. Plug it, put your CD or pen drive or other and you will be able to see it in your device.

Great price, great product, compact and light weight. I finally tested the product, and it works nicely. The setup is plug and play. There isn't any software to download before use; plug it into your laptop or desktop computer and your computer will read it. I did have to download the program to read the format of the content on the CD but nothing in relation to the CD/DVD player. It read my CDs/DVDs, SD card, micro-SD cards and USB flash drives with ease. It comes with an attached USB/C adapter, an additional USB/C Cord, along with a compact hard case for carry and storage, along with a soft velvet carry bag. I love carry cases because you can keep all of the components together. I am very happy with my purchase, now I can find the photos I previously could not find.

I just received the CD DVD drive and it works great! I tried it out on my PC and also on a Chromebook and it was easy to plug in and open the CD I put in. I used a couple of the ports that it does have to access data files and it works as expected. It feels more sturdy and durable than I expected which is nice as well. Nice price for a nice product.
