I have always liked Bose. Compared to other speakers in this price range that have a comparable sound, this speaker is smaller. The one thing I love that I didn't even consider when purchasing is the small fabric loop on the long end. It's made of very strong, thick, seatbelt-like material, so I never worry about dropping or losing the speaker if I hook it to a bag, etc. The sound is fantastic. Crystal clear treble, deep base - overall well-balanced and dynamic sound. I have happily used other speakers in this price range and if I am being picky, the reason I prefer this one is not only because it is the smallest of all the others I've used, with comparable sound. It's much lighter. Made of durable material. Great craftsmanship.

My life is a musical and I am always playing a listening to music. The performance of this speaker is stellar! The sound is nice and full, it has good bass (which is necessary for hip hop and EDM/House music), it’s also waterproof (love), and has a pretty decent battery life (I’ve left it unplugged for weeks and it still had a charge enough to play during a late night gathering I had. I use this speaker in the backyard when I have friends over. I have a hot tub and fire pit. So music is essential outside! So what I didn’t expect is, b/c I connect it to my phone (Spotify) someone could call me. The Bluetooth speaking function is actually really clear. I was impressed. I wish it was smaller/lighter (but I wish I was smaller and lighter - lol). However, it’s not heavy - maybe 3 pds. Easy to connect., I don’t use the app.

I got this when it was on sale, and I love this thing! The music doesn’t sound flat, and due to the equalizer settings of this speaker, I’m able to hear some instruments I wasn’t able to hear with headphones. Small but mighty. I will say however, this speaker does not have an equalizer you can alter. The equalizer built into it is purely to balance the audio based on if you have the speaker “standing” or on its “back”. I tried downloading the other Bose app, the one that lets you mess with equalizers of some products, to see and it wasn’t there. So the only equalizer you can use would be from what your music streaming service offers. But even with that, I still recommend this speaker for people that love music on the go, and for those who need a speaker in the car if they don’t have a dependable Bluetooth device hooked up to their car.
