One link to find all the PIDs and in the app...BIND them. Buy once, cry once. Better to have all the data right away at your fingertips than to spend the time and hassle of researching and pulling all the PIDs yourself. Maybe the Android Torque users just have all the answers or something, but for iOS, this is what you want!

Even when I think that this cant do something I got proven wrong and after having it for a few months now, it still amazes me and I find new things I didnt know I had access to. So far Ive used it on my 2006 Dodge Ram 2500 Diesel, a 2007 Chevy HHR, and a 2006 Lincoln Town Car. This is by far the best purchase Ive made this year. Highly Recommend

This works great for adding key fobs for my 2018 Ram 2500. I used it with alpha obd app and you need a bypass cable for anything 2018 and newer. If you work on your own car this is a must you won't be disappointed.

I’ve been using a basic scan tool for ages, this though… it’s game changing. Being able to read all of the codes from all of the comm lines on Chryslers, fords, VW’s, etc… with obvious frequent updates from the manufacturer in the first party app? GREAT. the product gets 7 out of 5 stars. The app though… the app gets 3. The app does everything you need it to. Why does it get 3 stars?… there is no back button. You have to close the app and restart it every time you want to go to a previous screen. At least on Android. Whatever though, I’ll live with it though because the device itself works fine with other apps.

I tried cheaper versions that 'worked' but lacked full functionality. Do yourself a favour and just buy the one you need - this one. It's plug and play. Connect it to your bike (or car), connect with Bluetooth and run whatever App you need to access the software. I use mine primarily to reset the service lights but you can do so much more if you want. Other cheaper versions I tried I could connect but not DO anything. Get this one.

Used with Forscan app on iPhone to read codes and reset battery monitoring system after battery replacement on Ford F150. Connected seamlessly out of the box to my phone and to Forscan. Readings were fast and accurate Well made, comes in a small protective case so I can keep it in the truck on the go. Really can’t say enough good things about this or the combo of this and the Forscan app as an owner of an older vehicle that utilizes OBDII technology. It will pay for itself with 2 uses for someone that does any kind of DIY auto mechanics.
This is HIGHLY recommended! In a nutshell, out of all the top-selling and top-reviewed Bluetooth OBD-II scan tools, this MX+ seemed to be the best. One feature that pushed this over the top was its ELM327 feature or ability, allowing use with many 3rd-party software (or apps), in case the native software had shortcomings. I'm not an automotive mechanic or expert. I just needed an OBD-II tool to possibly rule out glaring issues while shopping used cars. This tool was very simple to set up, connect, and use. It was used with the freely available Android (Google Play) App called "OBDLink" and a highly rated ELM327 compatible 3rd-party app called "Car Scanner ELM OBD2". I have not tried using the MX+ with the Android app called "Torque Pro" yet. But as it is compatible, I may do so in the near future and report on that. What I liked about this OBDLink MX+ tool: 1. FAST updates... nearly 100 data samples per second. 2. Works with or emulates ELM327 protocol (which allows compatibility with 3rd-party software/apps). 3. Top-rated on Amazon with over 11,500 reviews! 4. Works with not only Android and iOS, but also Windows PC's. 5. The Android app seems to be updated frequently, compared to another top brand (with Blue in their name), whose app hasn't been updated in over 13 months (as of July 2023). What needs improvement: 1. An OBD-II / scantool primer or wizard for noobs like me (such as videos, FAQs, or getting-started guide). 2. Along with the above (#1), their native Android app could be more intuitive or have a wizard option. 3. Can't think of anything else at the moment! Misc: 1. The package is labeled, "Assembled in China". 2. I purchased three of these units (with one as a gift), but received different (hardware?) versions. Oddly, the the one I bought a few weeks later showed an older version. For the MX+, I received both versions 3.2.1 and 3.1.1. I apologize for the short review. But I will update this as new discoveries are made. Thank you for reading!

The OBDLink MX+ has a lot more of what I need as a DIY enthusiast mechanic. I especially like the dashboard section where you can customize your own dashboard with a vast number of instruments and editing options. I'm very happy and I recommend it 👍🚘
