Magnet may not be strong enough For a heavy set of keys. It came apart while in my pocket. That may be because it is may to be easy to pull apart. Otherwise the build quality seems to be good and the size is perfect.

The magnet is more annoying than useful on this product since the pull apart has a shape to it my keys are always in the way. It's hard to feel this out without looking for it, if your expecting a eyes free connection this is not the product.

Strong magnets, I like that you have to move it horizontally to split them but is very easy to do when you purposely do it. Nice accessory.

I was struggling to find the right key ring with an easy use detachment for spare keys and this is everything I was looking for I just wish I found it sooner! The magnetic piece slides for easy release and reattachment. Plus it's slim and sleek.. Highly recommend

I was looking for something for my keys to the end of my wallet chain that I can operate with one hand. This does a pretty good job with a couple of caveats. First of all, since the ends that connect are shaped to slide into place, it’s easy enough to remove the keys but getting them back on requires two hands. Second of all, because my wallet chain is metal the “base” almost always sticks to the chain. That said, the magnet is strong enough that I can just hold my keys (a car key and two house keys) near the wallet chain and they’ll hang from there. Stays in place when I walk, but if it bumps into something or you run/jump they’ll fall off. Ideally, the two ends would be flat instead of sculpted to slide together.

the mechanism join\separate is great. This will not come apart by accident, is sturdy and secure

I owned the first version of the Magconnect and it had one issue, the magnets came unglued. This version doesn’t have that issue, and the re-design has a stronger retention. If you have a key ring that you need to swap between key fobs, I highly recommend this product.

I had my reservations but wanted to try a different option from the bearing type. I had concerns about accidental separation but this magnet is strong. On occasion it wil separate but it is rare and under great stress. Usually it’s getting yanked. I pull it apart at least 10 times a day and it’s just as strong as day one. There are also no indications of wear on the plastic.
