I was looking for a lightweight key organizer for a few keys, and this worked perfect. I like the flexability, as it is comfortable even brushing against something solid. As far as the complaints about being hard to assemble, well I bet they can't change their own oil in their car either. Also, about the complaints of it loosening in your pocket, and falling apart, well this can happen, if you don't routinely tighten it. But there is a simple solution for this problem. Simply buy some locktite, either here on amazon, or at any auto parts store, or ask your buddy who changes his own oil, and I bet he's got some in his toolbox. Just a dab will do,,,problem solved.

Hi All, There are already some reviews regarding the durability of the plastic. But unfortunately, they are true. If you are rotating the keys in a certain way, you may manage to crack the plastic as I did. I did like this a lot though, it’s sleek and holds keys pretty well. Plus the screws don’t come loose too easily like I’ve experienced with others. If only, the plastic was a bit more tough. Would recommend getting the metal one. Thanks

Here is a synopsis of my experience of having this for a couple months: Pros: 1. Build - the build is light, but intentional. It feels quite cheap at first, but you got to remember that it's really the keys inside of the Smart Key that makes the build ridged which is so smart. 2. Profile - minimal, no fancy bevels, or crazy looking styles. It actually stopped the chime of all my keys clanging together. 3. Assembly - You know that dime in your coin pouch? it can unscrew the screws holding each end together. This thing is so user friendly, so easy. 4. Leverage - Because this contraption uses the hole in most keys, you can swivel the keys and use the handle to help turn the key. cons: 1. If you have more than 4 keys you need to be stored in this contraption, do NOT get the basic model of the Smart key. I know the title says up to 8 keys but you need to select that expansion option. I do say though, it is worth teh expansion price if you can afford it. 2. Too slim? - The profile is so slim that the teeth of the keys still stick out, so if you were trying to prevent your keys from scratching your car, or from anything else, the slim isn't the best option. That is why Smart key has many options available, even one with a Tile on it. 3. Washers - I wish it came with a little more washers, some of my keys are commercial keys for buildings that are thicker and inconvenient for the other keys. Overall, don't let the cons scare you, I, myself needed a solution to the jingle of all my keys. You will love this product!

This is such a fantastic product and great idea. I love the idea of consolidating my keys down to one little multi-tool type keychain where I can flip out my desired key at will. However, the major drawback for the Flex model, is that it is flexible and made of plastic. The first day I used it was the only day it worked perfectly. The second day, one of the screws came loose and my keys were flopping everywhere. So, I went to tighten it, a little extra tight, so that it wouldn’t happen again. Probably my mistake, but I really didn’t tighten it THAT much. It was tight enough to break the plastic casing and render it pretty much unusable. By the third day, the thing was completely destroyed and didn’t hold my keys together anymore. Moral of the story. This is a great product concept, but the materials used make it unusable. It really is worth it to cough up the extra $10 or so and get the aluminum one. You won’t regret it!
