It was the summer 1986 I was away in camp when from one of the cabins I heard a strange yet entertaining sound of bells and someone talk/singing about - Girls! I went to check it out, and it was one of the other campers playing a Beastie Boys License to Ill cassette on a boom box (remember those?). I hung out for a while and the next thing I knew three of us were working out our "The New Style" act for the annual camp-wide lip sync. On the particular CD I received, the bass-lines seem a little dull/flat. Not sure if this is the 80's dubbing coming through on CD or if I received a burned recording. Either way for the $2.25 I paid it is still fun.
