TUSHY Classic 3.0 Bidet Toilet Seat, Self Cleaning Water Sprayer

I really wanted to come emphasize the temperature not being an issue. I like hot showers. I have a heated blanket to warm my bed before getting in it in winter. I can't stand washing my hands in cold water. This unheated water stream doesn't bother me. I was going to opt for the heated model but reviews warned it's really inconvenient to prerun the tap to heat it, which is definitely an issue for my bathroom sink already. No regrets with that.

Our granddaughter installed another brand in the other bathrooms. I think those work better for women and I don't like them. I installed this one in my bath and it works fine. It is not heated and we have not gotten into the winter but so far the water is just not that uncomfortable. I do notice that it does not get water on the toilet set like the other brand. I like that.

I bought the first one but I thought it was defective because I simply could NOT turn the control dial. It wasn't very tall, so I couldn't get a solid grip on it. I sent it back and the Tushy people received it with no problem. They offered to send a replacement so I tried again with the same ressults. The bidet was FANTASTIC but, again, I could not turn that control dial. However, my genius husband came up with an idea. He glued a 3/4" piece of a dowel rod the same diameter and color of the bamboo dial and viola!!! perfect bliss. That control button was the only design flaw. It was super easy to install and I can't say enough about how great it feels. Oh, mine isn't heated but room temperature water of not cold enough to be uncomfortable. Thank you Tushy, for my tushy.

Been wanting to get 1 for awhile now. Saw this and decided to try it and maybe graduate to a nicer model down the road. I am perfectly happy with this model! My hubby installed it in minutes it was super easy. He was hesitant at 1st to use it he also likes it!! I was worried about the water being cold but we already have a mixer switch on our water to the toilet so the water that fills up the tank is semi warm. So that isn't much of an issue. Overall we are very pleased with this purchase!!

There is a learning curve and took a couple of weeks to get used to it. Very pleased. Especially pleased that the cold water is not uncomfortable. Would the "spa" version with warm water be better? Perhaps, but glad not to have another connection running to the sink. Dry paper products do not clean you. Get one of these and actual BE clean!

Every time we move, I purchase a new one. Not because the old one failed, it's just nice to start new with all the necessary connections. Some toilets and plumbing require different parts, so it's nice to begin a new place and not be looking for parts. It comes will all the parts we have ever needed. The controls are a little bit jarring. I wish it was more gentle. But each house we have been in has a slightly different water pressure, so I assume that is why. It does take a little bit to install. Now they have a video you can go to, which is helpful. But this being my 3rd one, I did it real quick.

Pros: 1. Installation is dead simple, and requires minimal skill and tools. A child could install this, provided they can read. 2. Minimalist, non-intrusive design fits most toilet form factors. 3. Simple, intuitive controls. 4. Your bum WILL be cleaner than your peers', and you will feel superior for it. Cons: 1. The water flow/spray isn't quite as directed and precise as higher end washlets, so expect to have to "position" yourself a little for optimal contact. This was not a dealbreaker for us, given the price point at which this is sold. Just set your expectations (and your sitting position) accordingly. 2. No temperature control on this specific model, but hopefully you're aware of that before purchasing. Could be a bit shocking to use if you spend winters in the upper midwest, so unless you're the type who loves cold showers, consider yourself warned! 3. The "angle adjustment" switch is pretty much useless on the units we received. The change in direction is marginal and insignificant for me. 4. The biggest con, for me: If your intention is to cut down on waste or paper usage, this honestly isn't the way to do it. You will likely use even MORE toilet paper with this. It for sure gets you cleaner, but it also gets your entire under carriage soaking wet, so expect to use even more toilet paper than if you were to just wipe the old-fashioned, barbaric way...If you're wanting to cut down on paper usage, consider getting a higher-end washlet with a drying feature. This may be less of an issue if con #1 was better addressed by Tushy. Given the price, and the limitations of our plumbing in our home, this was an easy purchase and I have no real regrets. It does what I need it to do without any frills, bells, or whistles. If you're ok with the listed "cons," then I think you can't go wrong with this as a bidet option.

I've spent time in Japan and several other countries, I love Bidets. It is a much more efficient and effective way to clean yourself. The tushy does everything you need it to do, but nothing more. I bought the temperature control one, but I wouldn't waste money on it. It only works if the sink water is already hot. I actually uninstalled the hot hose, because it's more clutter. That said, I am not picky. I just need it to work. The cost saving on toilet paper along is enough to justify this purchase. Recommend to EVERY person that comes over. The fact that we don't have them in every bathroom in America is silly. Functional and efficient.
