Easy and quick in a pinch. Tasted fine. Mixed well. If you have the extras and pasta you have dinner. I like having self ready powers Saves time too.

Great flavor. Better than jar sauces. Used almond milk instead of water. Cheaper alternative because you'll get way more outa the powder than buying jars.

This stuff taste decent, but it's a very light flavor. I would have liked the cheddar flavor to be more pronounced. It's also very expensive for what you get. I need to experiment more and see what this would taste like with a different recipe.

I knew going in that this was a powder cheese but this is worse than any powder cheese I have ever had!! So bad If you follow the instructions you get salt flavored water. No thickness to it at all. It took half the container of powder to make a consistency of cheese like you put on a hot dog or chips. Then it just tasted like salt. Why don't manufacturers. understand that throwing more salt at it doesn't make it better.

I bought this on a lark for quick and easy dinners. Usually, I prefer to make my own Alfredo sauce, but I don't always have the ingredients on hand. After trying a few jarred sauces (yuck!) I stumbled upon this powdered version by Hoosier Hill Farm. I read the reviews and was impressed so I tried it myself. The reviews are correct... this sauce only needs water and you end up with a delicious and quick sauce! I do recommend that after your water is boiling you slowly sift in a small amount of the powder at a time until all the measured amount has been whisked in.... that makes the sauce perfect without lumps. I definitely recommend this product and will be purchasing again!

Check out their website they offer many products and I have tried two and very very tasty. Thank you The Kitchen Whisperer for your yummy recepies using the Alfredo and Southwestern sauce mixes. They are easy to incorporate into recepies and the flavor is fantastic

The flavor great! Mixed with shrimp and linguine. It was the Star for Thanksgiving.
I have purchased several items from Hoosier Hill Farm and have never been disappointed. I wanted some alfredo sauce but didn't want to buy the bigger jars from the grocery store. I'm the only one eating this and the larger jars are just too much for one person. Yesterday, my package arrived, and I mixed up the 1-cup portion according to the package directions. At first it seemed a bit thin, but it did thicken up as it sat. I put it into a container and refrigerated it overnight. This morning it was nice and thick and perfect on pasta. I'm on a soft/pureed/liquid diet and am so pleased to have found something that is easy to use and tastes good. Per the recommendation of another reviewed, I made sure the water was boiling when I added it to the powder. I used 1/3 cup powder and 1 cup boiling water. I whisked it until it was well mixed. I also ordered the Hoosier Hill Farm powdered sour cream and the white cheese powder to add to the alfredo sauce to increase the calorie count a bit. I've lost a significant amount of weight due to cancer and am trying to find ways to get more calories in a small quantity of food. The alfredo sauce is perfectly fine without anything added to it, but I thought it would be worth a try to add a few things to it. I would definitely recommend this product, especially if you want something that is shelf-stable and easy to prepare. I'll probably store the powder in the freezer since I live in a humid climate and don't want this to get clumpy.
